The time has come. You will soon be travelling to Wayfarer’s Landing. You know that this is going to be a one way trip. Your body will be tethered to the reflection of Convergence, which you will now call home. You have heard the rumors, it can be quite a dangerous place. Wayfarer’s landing is a fringe outpost. Subject to attacks from local beasts, savage tribes and war-bands, restless undead, and vicious gangs within the outpost itself.

Are you sure you still want to do this?

Of course you do.

You step onto the rifting pad and the ritual begins. Waves of green energy rise and circle around you like a magical vortex. You feel like you are moving, but you can see that you are standing completely still. Then all at once you feel like you are propelled upward with great force, and brought right back down again with equal speed. The energy dissipates and you are in a busy room with a long counter from one end to another with attendants greeting lines of people one by one. A guard sternly asks you to step down and enter one of the lines.

As you wait in line, you see another attendant at the side of the room. He is holding a staff, and uses it to get the attention of the room by butting one end into the floor loudly. The room quiets. “Newcomers to Wayfarer’s Landing, take heed! The beasts in the area are becoming unnaturally aggressive! Hunting groups and caravans are being attacked regularly! Yesterday a child was attacked near the edge of town! If you travel beyond the gates, you do so at your own risk! Some foundation members are paying rewards for those who can guarantee safe travel for it’s members who have business outside of town! Check your local job boards for more information!”

The attendant steps down and goes behind the counter to help another attendant. The traveler in front of you in line shrugs and says, “If it’s not one thing, it’s another.”

The line continues to move and you are one step further to finding out what lies ahead for you in Wayfarer’s Landing.

JUNE EVENT! June 12-14 at Elk Lick Camp in Smethport, PA

A Trial Awaits, and others beyond the citizenry of Wayfarer’s Landing demand justice….

Denizens of Wayfarer’s Landing are eagerly awaiting the trial of Zappo Tinkerforgeman, who was arrested at the last gathering on the suspicion of involvement with the placement of bottles containing the altered remains of Primordials. The means of alteration is currently unknown, but the bottles were infecting local wildlife with unnatural aggression and strength. The citizen death count is currently unknown as well, but the numbers are expected to be brought up during the trial. The charges against him are serious, and many locals hope that if he is indeed found guilty that he will be brought to justice for the loss of life and fear that was brought to the area.

Whether or not he is truly guilty of the crimes, what caused these Primordial remains to trigger this change? If he in fact was responsible, what other plans were halted by his capture?

The Muldoon Sisterhood have been dealing with a series of issues in their dealings with local tribes who seem to blame the Foundations equally for the change that occurred in the beasts causing the deaths of many of their people. Some of the tribes have begun to merge and attack citizens on the outskirts of Wayfarer’s Landing. Will the results of the trial appease the outraged tribes, or is more bloodshed the only outcome?

These questions and more are sure to be answered at the next gathering. Will you be there to learn the truth?

The streets of Wayfarer’s Landing are darkened daily by the sight of troll doomsayers garbed in the rotting flesh of all manner of slain animal. They wander, unarmed and posing no meaningful threat to the citizens, though they prophesize the end of the interlopers from reflections beyond. In broken common speech they spew forth the promise of destruction,

“A plague upon all you!”

“Death looms! Leave back from where you come or be dead soon!”

“It nest in your blood and you shall birth new horror!”

The Foundations have dismissed these trolls, and advised the citizenry to inflict no harm upon them unless they first pose a serious threat. They do not wish for any more fallout with the local native populations after recent events, and most figure these trolls only serve as an attempt to antagonize them. The Muldoon Sisterhood however has taken these ominous threats to heart, and has already begun to investigate their meaning despite the easy dismissal of their political peers.

Despite the cavalier front of most of the Foundations regarding these trolls, the common citizenry has succumbed to a foreboding fear of these lanky wart covered monsters. As the next gathering approaches, there will no doubt be an outcry for these trolls to be dealt with, and the virtue of their doomsaying to be uncovered, or disproven.

Local adventurers and traveling merchants have been talking about a masked man in Wayfarer’s Landing peddling tales of local legends and infamous folk figures. His rather creepy anecdotes paint vivid pictures of a horrific nature, but they all seem grounded in truth.

This masked storyteller has arrived at a time of the year when strange happenings can become quite commonplace and when the dead are known to stir, thus adding to the eerie feeling in the air following the recent crisis in the area.

What tales does this masked man have to tell? Are these fairy fables nothing more than stories told to frighten children or is there more to his macabre tragedies than meets the eye?

Winter's End [CLICK HERE for more information]
April 22-24 at Elk Lick Camp, Smethport PA

Before the onset of winter an object, which locals described as a falling star, had shot forth from the sky and crashed into the wilds outside Wayfarer’s Landing. The Foundations had quickly worked to secure the site of impact, and little news has been released since with the exception of assurances that there was no immediate danger to the citizens of Convergence.

During the winter more than a dozen individuals, all who had been participants in experimental Rites conducted by the Alnor Synod, were rounded up and moved to a safe location outside Wayfarer’s Landing. The Foundations stated this was for the safety of the citizens as well as the participants. as it became obvious that there would be no end to the haunting specters that came to assail these men and women in the night. Several members of the Alnor Synod were arrested and jailed for endangering the population with these unstable Rites while further investigation is being conducted into their exact nature.

Now with spring approaching rumors also spread of visiting royalty from another reflection. While these sorts of visits are not uncommon from across the Infinitum, this one comes with speculation that the visitor is fearful for their life, and seeking asylum from the Foundations of Convergence. Officials have been quick to dismiss these rumors, and will offer no commentary to the nature of who they are, or when they’ll arrive. No one has been able to determine the source of these rumors.
